Scott Kmiec


Scott Kmiec, 39, is the Executive Director of the New Jersey Section, PGA of America and the NJ Golf Foundation. A graduate of Rutgers University and former baseball captain, Kmiec started as a collegiate intern in January of 1995 and has been as an employee of the NJPGA since that time. He was promoted to the Executive Director role in December of 2007 and oversees the daily activities of the association of nearly 500 NJPGA Professionals.

He was in integral part of the creation of the NJ Golf Foundation, the charitable arm of the NPGA, in 2004. This foundation has grown significantly under his leadership with over 90,000 NJ youth going through their golf in schools initiative alone in 2012. Additional programs created to positively impact lives through golf include special needs and autistic golf camps, women’s initiatives, and local first tee support.

Scott lives in Clinton with his wife Kristen.
