Allan Small

Allan Small has had a long and successful golf career. His wins include the NJ Amateur, NJ Mid-Amateur (twice,) NJ Senior Amateur (3 times), MGA Senior Amateur, the Hockster, the Boff Memorial, the Bergen County Amateur and the Chesapeake Cup.

Allan has represented NJ and the MGA in more than 60 sectional and international competitions and has competed in 19 USGA championships.

His service to the game is highlighted by his time with the MGA, having served as President of the MGA and as Chairman of the MGA Foundation.

A graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, Small received a BS in Economics in 1973.

More recently, he has spent several years coaching the golf team at Seton Hall University and is currently the assistant coach there.

He is married to Patti, has 3 children and 4 grandsons.
